Rosie is 2 years old!

I’m sorry to say that there will be no long update this month for Rosie - as her brother arrived a mere 8 days before she turned 2. She has been adapting quite well, only a little more clingy than usual. She has been asking to “cuddle mommy” a lot more, but she really seems to love her little brother. She asks to “please hold the baby mommy” and everytime she holds or sees him, she introduces herself - waves to him and says “Hi, I’m Rosie”. She has been calling him “Sammy the wolf” - and it’s so cute.
We just had a small family celebration for her birthday. We ordered pizza (one of her favorites) and I made cupcakes (she was REALLY excited about the cupcakes) and she loved having “Happy Birthday” sung to her - and she did a relly good job blowing out her candles. Since my mom and 2 sisters were in to meet the new baby - it was good timing for her birthday as we could all shower her with lots of attention and pretend that everyone was in town for her special day. I asked her if she had a good birthday and she whispered “cupcake” and said “I blow it out”. She really seems so grown up to me now. When I hold her on my lap and her legs dangle over the side, I am amazed that It has been 2 years since she was as tiny as Sam is now. The time has flown by, yet I can barely remember how my life was without her, it seems she has always been here, a part of our family - a part of me. I love you my sweet girl and I hope you know how special you are and will always be.
Happy 2, Rosie! You are already such a loving, wonderful big sis to Sam. And you will always be Mama’s first baby, her first girl!!
