Rock a Bye Daddy
Since we have been transitioning Rosie to her crib (instead of sleeping in our bed) it has been harder to get her to sleep - especially for me. She will no longer just nurse to sleep, it has taken lots of bouncing and rocking and she just wants to keep nursing and won’t ever drift off. Not so for daddy, he can get her to sleep in 5 min! For some reason, he has the magic touch - so I have been more than happy to relinquish the nighttime duties to him…Usually I change her into her pj’s and nurse her and read to her and pull down the shades and start the bedtime music and wait till daddy comes in and he rocks her for a few minutes and she is out…
The cutest thing is when he is rocking her to sleep and he puts himself to sleep too…
